Mistletoe Market Shopping Extravaganza
This year’s show is once again being held in the Atrium at the Belle of Baton Rouge. Our market will be a 2 day show on Saturday, November 9th 9:00 am till 5:00 pm, and Sunday November 10th 9am-5pm.Thirteen years ago, two women entrepreneurs were on a mission to develop a market where local vendors could create a memorable shopping experience. Thus began Mistletoe Market! What started with 10 vendors, MTM has now grown to over 100 vendors and from just a handful of shoppers to now an expected 6000 shoppers. Attendees will have access to a multitude of vendors from boutiques to chefs to hand crafted work, selling pieces for holiday purchases. MTM always wants to provide the best shopping experience, by creating a kid friendly environment with wide aisles for ease of a shopping extravaganza.MTM is a firm believer in giving back to the community. Each year MTM choses a local charity involved with children with terminal illnesses and donates a portion of admission prices. Last year, MTM was able to raise over 10,000.00 for Olivia Grace Lewis. This year's chosen charity is Dreams Come True of Louisiana, a local organization that makes dreams come true for children with a terminal illness, from electronics to family trips.
This year we are advertising in Parents Magazine, 225 Magazine, The Around Town show, and distributing 100,000 color postcards. We will also get a spot featured on the news before the event.
